Designed to help campers love learning, movement, and being part of a team
Big Movers is a summer camp program designed for 6 and 7 year old campers who are ready to explore a variety of sports in a fun and supportive environment.
Campers are introduced to the basic rules and fundamentals of different sports, with thoughtful modifications that help every child experience success. For example, volleyball nets may be lowered, smaller basketballs may be used, and campers may shoot on lower basketball nets to build confidence and skill.
Each Big Movers camp day also includes themed arts and crafts, playground time, and fun educational activities, creating a well balanced summer camp experience that both athletes and non athletes enjoy.
This program helps campers build confidence, teamwork, coordination, and a love of being active while enjoying a full and exciting day at summer camp.
