As teachers we are unified in our goal to help young people reach their full potential. We build teams of counsellors that are empathetic, intelligent, active and love to work with kids. We aim to provide the best work environment possible for our staff and invest in them heavily. We know that our staff the people who interact with your kids and our campers, which is why we pay them substantially more than industry average and provide them with a week long leadership training course prior to the first day of camp each summer. We strive to be the premier youth employer in the GTA.

Adam Buchnea, O.C.T

Founder

Rouge Camps is a passion for Adam, who has built the camp from a dream into a full service day camp provider that meets the needs of parents and campers across the G.T.A. Being a Health & Physical Education Teacher and having previously worked at Muskoka Woods camp have well equipped him to equip other teachers with the skills they need to run amazing camps. He enjoys continually building positive environments where campers develop the confidence to step out of their comfort zones. In his spare time Adam golfs, plays tennis, and spends time with his beautiful wife.

Conor Eustace, O.C.T

Executive Director

Conor has a wealth of experience coaching youth sports, mainly with the Etobicoke Eagles Minor Football Club. As a Health and Physical Education teacher, Conor understands the importance of helping kids learn about and explore new sports and physical activities. With teaching experience in both public and independent school settings, Conor has a diverse and robust range of knowledge that he is able to harness in his role as Camp Director at Rouge Camps. When he is able to, Conor enjoys travelling with his girlfriend, who maintains that there are places in the world worth seeing that don’t involve an arena or football field!
