Cancellation

Cancellations before April 30th are offered 100% refunds.  Cancellations before June 30th are provided with a 50% refund, after July 1st a 25% refund and after the first day of camp a 0% refund. Cancellations for extenuating circumstances will be refunded on a case by case basis (severe sickness, broken bones, etc. are generally granted, but common colds are not refunded).  A $25 per camper administrative fee will be applied to all cancellations.

Cancellations due to a Government shut down will be 100% refunded, without any fees.

Technology

Mobile devices and other  technology are encouraged to be left at home. Campers are allowed to use their devices during lunch, but camp is meant to be physically active and a time to make new friends! We are not responsible for lost or stolen devices.

Behaviour

We have a zero-tolerance for bullying policy. We work with our parents to keep our campers at camp, but if it is deemed that one camper’s actions are causing another camper to have a negative experience at camp, the offending camper will not be allowed to return to camp and no refund will be provided.

Safe Camps

Each camp is overseen by a total of 3 trained professional teachers, with 2 on-site at any given time giving you peace of mind over other day camps. All of our programming is reviewed against a Safety Matrix, all of our staff are hand-picked for their competence and attend a week-long staff training conference prior to the first day of camp.

Photo Release

All of our campers sign a media release waiver prior to the first day of camp. This allows us to show prospective parents/guardians the unforgettable fun times that our campers have during their time at camp!

Privacy

All of your information provided during registration is held online by a third-party company and is securely encrypted.

Date Changes

Changes can be made without penalty up until April 30th based on availability. After April 30th, changes will be made based on availability and a fee of $25 will be charged.

Allergens

We are a nut-free camp. We require all campers who have a nut allergy to carry an epipen, and each location has extra epipens on site. Any other allergies should be disclosed on our medical form.

Sickness

Due to the short nature of our programs, we do not offer refunds for sick days.

Weather

At each of our camp locations we have access to gyms and classrooms. If there is severe weather, our programs move indoors where the activities do not stop! During extreme heat warning, our campers do not go outside when the temperature rises above 34 degrees Celsius.

Clothing

Campers should arrive each day with athletic clothes, athletic shoes, sunscreen, water bottle and a snack (lunch as well if not participating in the Meal Plan).

Sun

We are a SunSafe camp, meeting all of the Melanoma Network of Canada’s requirements. Our program is designed for our campers to not be outside for more than 2 consecutive hours, take regular water breaks and build in time to apply sunscreen before going outside.

Lost & Stolen Items

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. However, we do have a Lost and Found that you should ask about if your camper has misplaced an item! We ask that your campers do not bring any valuables to camp.
